      A print reproducing a cartoon fragment by Raphael (c.1512) now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.556). Lettered with title, provenance history and production details. Plate 33. Annotated in pencil at upper right. Published in J. Fisher, 'Facsimiles Of Original Studies By Raffaelle, In The University Galleries, Oxford. Etched By Joseph Fisher', eds.1852-65, plate 33.

      The fragment in Oxford is from the original cartoon by Raphael for the fresco of 'The Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple', painted in 1511-12 in the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican, and corresponds with the head of the horse ridden by the heavenly rider crushing Heliodorus underfoot.
