The photograph shows the full-length seated Virgin, holding the Christ Child with both hands, who looks down at the winged angel who reaches for Him bending over His cradle, with a female saint (St Anne?) standing behind the Virgin with raised arms; with architectural background, and landscape beyond. The painting has an arched top.
