    Photograph of the Red (King's) Room in the Private Apartments, Windsor Castle. On the left is a table covered in a heavy cloth, chairs, paisley-covered settees, and vases on a cabinet at the back. The open door leads to further rooms. To the right is a French boulle table, a chair, a vase on a pedestal. The wall-hangings and curtains are as created for King George IV about 1829, a striped pattern of alternating medallions and leafy bands.
