      Glass plate negative of a view of Queen Victoria's Sitting Room, Windsor Castle. There is a Sevres clock on the mantelpiece over the fireplace (RCIN 30029), a pair of candelabras (RCIN 1746.1-2) and other decorative vases. There are various painting on the walls, including a work of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in costumes of the time of Charles II (RCIN 400822) and another of Prince Albert with his brother in 17th century clothes (RCIN 400616).

      The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed.
