      Glass plate negative featuring two almost identical views of the small room of Prince Consort's Library at Buckingham Palace. The walls are lined with glazed bookcases, a bookcase-library table is visible in the centre. On the far wall there is a fireplace.

      The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2103823.
