Glass plate negative of Busdubh, described as Queen Victoria's Scotch terrier. The dog is seated on a high backed wooden chair at the Royal Kennels, Windsor. The chair is surrounded by grass and there is a fence behind.
Busdubh was born at Windsor in 1852.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative (RCIN 2105091) can be found in an album belonging to Queen Victoria.
