UNKNOWN PERSON
RCIN 2083710
Glass plate negative of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and a female companion, possibly one of her daughters, seated in a carriage drawn by four ponies. A groom stands by the horse's head. The photograph was possibly taken in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints form this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection.
