This detailed model was presented to Queen Victoria by Abu Bakar (1833–95). It was given as a Golden Jubilee gift in 1887. The model records the appearance of the Prince Albert Memorial after the installation of the statue of the Prince in 1876. Victoria kept the model at Osborne.
