Letter notifying Phipps of Cole's position on the Council of the Horticultural Society and recording changes made in the Horticultural Gardens. Enclosing a printed letter from the Council to the Commissioners of 1851, 'Proceedings of the Royal Horticultural Society', printed details of band competitions and rules for the Fellows' Recreation Clubs (see RC/H/1/19/139, RC/H/1/19/140, RC/H/1/19/141 and RC/H/1/19/142).
