Letter from the Prince Consort to Lord John Russell acknowledging receipt of his letter regarding the Persian Ambassador and reporting that the Queen is willing to make an exception in his favour, to avoid any 'misconstruction'. He reports that the Queen will be happy to receive him in London on the 14 May. He also mentions the Duke of Bedford's health.
