Letter from Lord Breadalbane to Colonel Charles Beaumont Phipps enclosing Sir William Martin's observations upon the proposed regulations for allowances in the Lord Chamberlain's Department (see VIC/MAIN/C/61/66) and a memorandum on the fees paid by William Peel on his appointment as Messenger of The Queen (see VIC/MAIN/C/61/67). Suggestion for the abolition of those fees. Includes note by Phipps on Breadalbane's suggestions.
