A print reproducing one of the caryatids designed by Raphael for the dado decoration in the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican. This caryatid is generally interpreted as representing Nobility. Lettered with publishing line along the lower margin. Numbered at upper left: 1. Plate 1 and title-page from 'Diverses Figures Hieroglyphiques Peinte par Raphael d'Urbin dans une des salles du Vatican à Rome', a series of 13 plates reproducing figures painted on the dado in the Stanza di Eliodoro.
