A facsimile of a drawing by Raphael (c.1514-15) now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.3863); in reverse. Lettered with title, artists' names and former location of the work (collection of the Duc d'Orleans). Numbered in the lower right corner: 40. Published in ‘Recueil Crozat’, Paris 1729, plate 40. The Louvre drawing reproduced in this print is a carefully finished modello for the tapestry cartoon of 'Christ's Charge to Peter'. See RCINs 853042, 853047.
