The Triumph of Bacchus

A photograph of a sketch by Girolamo da Carpi now in the Royal Library at Windsor Castle (RCIN 990489r). Ruland (1876) attributed the sketch to Perino del Vaga and suggested a connection with a drawing of the same subject now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.593). A photograph of the latter can be found at RCIN 851811.
