Photograph which is one of five sections of a panoramic picture of the Plains of Balaklava. The others in the series are 2500473, 2500474, 2500475 and 2500477. The photograph shows the valley from a high vantage point, with a road curving round to the left. There is a large rock in the foreground to the right. The Battle of Balaklava was fought in this area of the Crimea.
