    Photograph of The Reverend William Rowe Jolley. He stands in full length and faces the viewer. He holds a top hat in his left hand and a cane in his right. 

    The Reverend William Jolley, a former Naval Chaplain, was a tutor in mathematics and geometry to Queen Victoria's sons, Prince's Alfred and Arthur. On the 25th January 1859, Queen Victoria wrote in her journal that she met Mr Jolley who she described as an 'excellent Master'.
