    Photograph of a full length portrait of Prince Frederick Augustus of Anhalt-Dessau (1799-1864) standing in profile, facing left. He holds a  hat in his right hand. There is drapery to left.

    In September 1832, Frederick Augustus married Landgravine Marie Louise Charlotte of Hesse-Kassel (b.1814), who survived him by thirty years and died in July 1895.
