Photograph of Victoria, Princess Royal, later German Empress Frederick III (1840-1901), lying on the floor with her brother, Prince Arthur, later Duke of Connaught (1850-1942). Princess Victoria supports her upper body against a draped support. She holds a sickle in her right hand, and poses with her left hand raised above her head. She wears a garland of flowers on her head. Prince Alfred lies beside her, on the far left side of the photograph. His upper body is similarly supported by a draped support. There are bunches of hay in the background.
