    Photograph of a painting of a near half length portrait of Frederick William, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1819-1904) by Franz Xaver Winterhalter (1805-73). The Grand Duke faces three-quarters to the right and turns his head towards the viewer. He wears a military uniform.

    Painting dates from 1853 and the original is displayed in the Bow Room, Buckingham Palace (RCIN 405101).
