    Photograph of a painting of a near half length portrait of Princess Augusta of Cambridge, Grand Duchess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1822-1916) after a work by Franz Xaver Winterhalter (1805-73). The Duchess faces three-quarters to the right and gazes ahead, away from the viewer. She wears a hair covering, light colour dress and a dark colour shawl. Painting dates from 1846.
