Photograph of a full length portrait of Colonel Henry Percy seated, facing towards the camera. He poses with his arms crossed. He holds an umbrella beside him. There is a plinth and curtains behind him, on the left. 

Percy was a soldier and MP. He fought at the Battles of Balaklava, Inkerman and the Seige of Sebastopol, for which he was awarded the Victoria Cross. He was present at the first Investiture of the Victoria Cross in Hyde Park in 1857. He was an Aide-de-Camp to Queen Victoria from 1855 to 1865.
